100/10 ! i was told to stop in after visiting the bronx zoo - i am very happy i did. parking was easy, right out front. i didn't wait long to order and the sandwich was made in moments. holy hell that bread is to die for. the fresh mozzarella is amazing and the salt from the meat with the sweetness from the glaze, amazing. large sandwich for the price ! can't wait to stop in again.

Casa Della Mozzarella is part of my biweekly "to do" list. Some of my favorites include the fresh mozzarella, smoke mozzarella, and sun dried tomatoes to name a few. I occasionally pick a random item to try, because, honestly, everything is so fresh and delicious. Service is always A+, even on days when it's hectic. Just know what you want to keep the line moving along. It's so important to support these mom and pop shops that make little Italy what it is.

Hands down the best sandwich I've had in New York. I was worried that the sandwich would be greasy, but it was fresh, light, and had the most delicious mozzarella. Size was large so I was full after half of it. Staff were efficient and very accommodating with my order. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of the Bronx lies a hidden culinary treasure, an Italian sandwich haven celebrated for its homemade mozzarella. This local legend, discreetly situated amidst the bustling streets, beckons both residents and tourists alike, tantalizing their taste buds with the promise of authentic Italian flavors encased within each sandwich. Among its summer delights is the summer time special. This masterpiece marries roasted garden vegetables with the creamy embrace of freshly made mozzarella contrasted with the tang of fresh pesto. The special challenges the notion that veggie sandwiches lack allure. Venturing beyond the expected, patrons encounter the "Bachacaloop," a daring fusion of sun-dried peppers, velvety mozzarella, and succulent soppressata--a symphony of bold flavors that captivates the palate. Meanwhile, "The Russo" emerges as a gastronomic delight, boasting a decadent truffle cheese, roasted mushrooms, and fig glaze, all harmoniously nestled within a hero roll. With each bite, we bear witness to the culinary prowess and unwavering dedication of the artisans behind these creations, cementing this establishment as a pilgrimage site for connoisseurs in search of the Bronx's finest Italian sandwiches.
